Maurizio Piglione
Maurizio Piglione, born in Turin in 1958, is Marazzi Group's CEO.
He worked for 6 years in Cofiri, the Financial Department unit of IRI Group, the largest Italian state-owned conglomerate.
Later on he worked for 11 years with Comital Saiag, a listed Group dealing in Rubber and Plastic technical components, initially as Financial Controller , then as CFO, and from 1995 as CEO. Following a merge, the Group changed the strategic focus of its business to Aluminium flexible packaging and Consumer Brands (Cuki, Domopak and Tonkita).
Before joining Marazzi Group, he was Managing Director of Alvarez and Marsal, a professional services firm, leader in Corporate Restructuring, Turnaround and Performance Improvement.
Maurizio Piglione holds a University Degree with honours in Economics and Political Science (“Laurea DES”) from Bocconi University in Milan. He worked as a Board of Directors Member in various companies and currently is a non-executive Board Member of Zambon S.p.A., a Pharmaceutical Group.
