Maurizio Piglione
Maurizio Piglione, born in Turin in 1958, is Marazzi Group CEO.
He worked for 6 years in Cofiri, IRI Group Financial Department unit, the largest Italian state-owned conglomerate.
After that he worked for 11 years with Comital Saiag, a listed group dealing in rubber and plastic technical components, initially as Financial Controller , then as CFO, and from 1995 as CEO. Following a merge, the group changed their business strategic focus to aluminium flexible packaging and consumer brands (Cuki, Domopak and Tonkita).
Before joining Marazzi Group, he was Managing Director with Alvarez and Marsal, a professional services firm, leader in corporate restructuring, turnaround and performance improvement.
Maurizio Piglione holds a University Degree with honours in Economics and Political Science (“Laurea DES”) from Bocconi University in Milan. He worked as a Board of Directors member in various companies.
